Miss Japan wins Talent award in Miss World 2018

Miss Japan Kanako Date has won the Miss World 2018 Talent Round. She has got a direct entry to Miss World 2018 Top 30 Semi finalists. The rest of the results are 2nd place is China - Mao Peirui; 3rd place is Canada - Hanna Begovic, 4th Poland - Agata Biernat and 5th is Malaysia - Larissa Ping Liew

Miss Thailand is wearing a red gown in Miss Universe 2018 by Asava

Thai designer Polpat Asavaprapha who is the creative director of Asava brand which is one of most famous and success thai fashion brands. He has returned for the 4th year in a row to dress Miss Universe Thailand 2018 Ning Sophida for Miss Universe 2018 evening gown round.

Inspiration

This year his design for Ning is based on Her Royal Highness Queen Sirikit's infamous 1960s couturier Pierre Balmain evening wear. The silhouette for the gown will be like a sand clock with red as the colour palette which has been chosen for Ning's gown to represent her Thai Chinese heritage as well as the inner strength within her. There will be a lot of embellishments details to show the craftsmanship of Thai culture on a variety of fabrics like Thai silk, mesh and tones of crystals! This year's gown will have the most embroidered dress ever worn by a Miss Thailand.
